Award season is upon us for 2007 titles! The 2nd Annual Elans, the Canadian Awards for the Electronic and Animated Arts, recently announced the winners for their wide range of game and animation categories divided by commercial titles and student projects. Awards covered everything from writing to design to art to music.
The event kicked off with host Seth MacFarlane, best known for Family Guy. Interesting, but not nearly as tickling as seeing William Shatner talk about the holodeck and gaming at last year’s event in Vancouver, British Columbia. But the sci-fi theme continued, since of course, Mass Effect took the overall “Game of the Year” award, along with a host of other categories.
So how about those art and design categories? Which awards stood out for us?
