indieshowcase.jpgECD Systems is holding its yearly contest for independent games. Voting began March 14, and they’re still taking submissions. The winners are up to the public, which means you still have a chance to make it if you enter your game!

This year the main prize includes custom-built game development workstations, so if you’re an indie just starting out, this gives you a shot at free technology to take the next step. ECD Systems has also added a “Best Student Entry” category that includes a cash scholarship award. Semi-finalists and finalists will also receive prizes.

Anyone can enter either the General or Casual category as long as you’re an independent game developer. Last year the contest had several million hits, so even if you don’t win, your game will get plenty of public distribution.
